The STAR Development Team provides an advanced
level of technical expertise for the planning, implementation, and management
of the applications comprising the State of Wisconsin’s enterprise software.
Key Responsibilities of the Development Team include:
Development and day-to-day maintenance of the State of
Wisconsin Shared Service Center for Financials, Procurement, Learning
Management, and Human Resources.
Supporting the functional teams of the STAR Support
Organization by providing fixes, enhancements, and custom development to
meet the business needs of State of Wisconsin Agencies.
Creating and maintaining the structures that interface
agencies with the central data systems of the enterprise, ensuring that
financial and human resource data is processed accurately and securely.
Deploying and updating all relevant tools associated
with enterprise applications while ensuring the continued integrity of
operations.
Performing research and offering advisement for the
long-term trajectory of the enterprise software.
