Accessing DFD Construction Bidding Opportunities

The Division of Facilities Development (DFD) utilizes the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal for electronic bid submissions.

Please note that the Bid Portal login is separate from the standard Trimble Unity Construct account used for project access and is not associated with your MyWisconsin ID.​​​

Trimble ID (​TID) Requirement

All bidders must sign in to the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal using a Trimble ID (TID).

If you do not already have a Trimble ID, you may create one by visiting: https://myprofile.trimble.com

Existing bidders should create or use a Trimble ID with the same email address previously associated with their Bid Portal account to ensure access to existing bidding history and active bid packages.​   ​

Accessing Bidding Opportunities

DFD does not utilize private bid invitations through the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal.

All DFD construction bidding opportunities are publicly advertised on this webpage. To participate in a bidding opportunity:

  1. ​Locate the project listed below.

  2. Select the project-specific Bid Portal link.

  3. Sign in using your Trimble ID (TID).

    • If you are prompted to create a Trimble ID (TID), follow the registration prompts. Once your account has been created, return to the DFD Projects Out for Bid webpage to access bidding opportunities.

  4. Review bidding documents and addenda.

  5. Complete all required bid forms and upload all required bid documents.

  6. Submit your bid electronically through the Bid Portal prior to the bid opening date and time. Return to the DFD Projects Out for Bid webpage to access additional bidding opportunities.

Bid Submission Confirmation

  • When submitting a bid through the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal, bidders will be prompted to confirm their submission by entering the Base Bid Subtotal displayed on the Bid Form.
  • The value entered must exactly match the Base Bid Subtotal shown on the screen in order to complete the submission process.
  • Bidders remain responsible for ensuring all required forms, attachments, acknowledgements, and bid documents have been completed and uploaded prior to final submission.

Note: The 5% permissive bidding preferen​ce for certified minority businesses pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 16.855(10m)(am)3. is currently paused.
