07/29/2026 IMPORTANT UPDATE - RAFFLE LICENSE REFUNDS.

You may be receiving a check from us for a raffle license overpayment.  The refund is due to a clerical statute error, which shows that the fee for renewing a raffle license is still $25 and not $50 which was passed into law in July of 2025.  You had previously paid $50 for your each of your renewals between July 5th 2025 and March 1st, 2026 so you received a refund check in the mail. Please cash this check and do not return it to our office.

The Division of Gaming's Office of Charitable Gaming is responsible for the licensing and regulation of raffles and bingos conducted by charitable organizations.  Our regulatory responsibility is to protect the public interest and the integrity of games of chance played in the state.

We annually issue 13,000 raffle licenses and license 350 bingo organizations playing over 7,000 bingo occasions each year.  Additionally, we perform on-site operational inspections of bingo events and initiate compliance audits of organizations conducting charitable gaming.
