Built in 1961, the Hill Farms Heating Plant occupies 19,200 GSF of space and provides steam generated heat to both the Hill Farms Transportation Office Building and the Hill Farms DEL State Office Buildings. It does so using two 35,000 pounds per hour water tube boilers, and one 400 horse power fire tube boiler.
