The State Laboratory of Hygiene was constructed in 1997-1998 and has two (2) stories containing 160,344 GSF of laboratory and office space.

An additional 82,000 SF of laboratory/office space was completed in July of 2013 which houses the Lab of Hygiene and the Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection.
