The STAR Development Section provides an advanced level of technical expertise for the planning, implementation, and management of the applications comprising the State of Wisconsin's enterprise software.
Key Responsibilities of the Development Team include:
•Development and day-to-day maintenance of Financial, Procurement, and Human Resource modules within STAR.
•Supporting the functional sections by providing fixes, enhancements, and custom development to meet the business needs of state agencies.
•Creating and maintaining the structures that interface agencies with enterprise systems, ensuring that financial and human resource data is processed accurately and securely.
•Deploying and updating all relevant tools associated with enterprise applications while ensuring the continued integrity of operations.
•Performing research and offering advisement for the long-term trajectory of the enterprise software.
