Training and Technical Assistance

​​​​​​​​​​​​CDBG-PLNG & CDBG-PF Application Training:

Application Training for the CDBG Planning (CDBG-PLNG) and competitive CDBG Public Facilities (CDBG-PF) Programs is held each year and offers potential applicants guidance and instructions in writing grant applications.  Participating in the training session is not required to submit an application but is highly recommended for Units of General Local Government (UGLGs) and consultants interested in submitting a CDBG-PLNG and/or competitive CDBG-PF application.

The PowerPoint presentation slides for the training session will be posted to this webpage prior to the session no later than February 1, 2021.

Implementation Training:​

CDBG Implementation Training is required for CDBG Public Facilities (PF), Planning (PLNG), Public Facilities for Economic Development (PFED), Economic Development (ED), Special Projects (SP), and all CLOSE Grantees (all new Grantees are required to complete CDBG Implementation Training).

The 2020 CDBG Implementation Training was held via webinar October 6, 2020 and October 8, 2020.  The Documents related to the training presentation and the webinar recording are linked below.
