DOA Volunteer Employee Assistance Program

LifeMatters Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service augments the internal EAP program that consists of selected, trained department employees that serve as resource coordinators. The EAP resource coordinators help department employees identify the troubling issues and provide community resources that might be able to help. All contacts with the EAP program and resource coordinators are voluntary and confidential within the limits specified by law.

EAP Advisory Committee

The Department of Administration Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Advisory Committee are volunteer employees that have informal training with employee assistance.   They are available to employees who need information or resources and may assist in an emergency situation.  They sponsor an annual Wellness Expo in the spring and assist in the selection of health and wellness Lunch & Learn seminars.  Questions, comments and suggestions regarding health and wellness issues or topics for future seminars may be directed to  (EMAIL Address here).

EAP Resource Library

The Employee Assistance Program Resource Library offers a wide variety of books, brochures, audio tapes and videos from a large range of topics for employees to check out for personal use. The Library is located on the 9th floor of the Administration Building at 101 E. Wilson Street in the Bureau of Human Resources.

If it is uncomfortable or inconvenient to peruse the material in the EAP Resource Library, arrangements can be made to have one or more of these items sent to you inter-d by contacting Bureau of Human Resources staff.

The Statewide Employee Assistance Program operates under Executive Order #26, dated 2003, from the Office of the Governor of the State of Wisconsin.
